Pancakes, football and a birthday

We've been a bit on the busy side lately and blogging hasn't exactly been a priority. Harvest started at work last Tuesday in Piper City so work has been busy. A little rain on Thursday kept the growers out of the field and allowed a little break for the weekend. And, a big weekend it was! Friday night we visited the Rademaker's for their annual Octoberfest, and Saturday was Claire's first football game! This is how she spent the game...

It was a dreary day, but Claire was warmer than the rest of us. She was decked out in Orange and Blue, but you didn't get too see much of it because of her coat and pink fuzzy blanket.
Today we went to LeRoy to celebrate Grandma Builta's 83rd birthday. She was one family member short of having the entire family in attendance.
Claire will definitely have a sweet tooth, but apparently Kara doesn't understand what "a little bit" means! :) Today Claire got a taste of applesauce, some juice out of the creamed corn and obviously some frosting from the birthday cake!
And, finally, since I haven't had the chance to blog since last weekend, here is a picture of my special helper making pancakes last weekend. She enjoyed sitting in her big girl high chair and helping in the kitchen!

In the last week or so Claire has really started reaching for things. She enjoys her bounce bounce baby (walker type toy), and rolls all over the place. She scoots around and gets where she wants to go but isn't crawling. She is increadibly well behaved, a great sleeper and we love sharing her with our friends and family!

I wondered if you took her to the game or not (since it was so crappy outside!) Cute pictures!! Have a great week!
